DUPLA Worm X - Piège à vers de feu
Comment savoir si une population est présente dans l'aquarium : Si les coraux ou les anthozoaires présentent des traces de morsure, il est possible qu'ils aient été attaqués par des polychètes.
Il ne faut alors plus tarder et se munir d'une lampe de poche pour examiner l'aquarium la nuit. Et si l'on découvre tout de suite quelques-uns de ces petits vers gênants, il vaut mieux les retirer de l'aquarium avant qu'ils ne puissent causer encore plus de dommage.
Il n'est en général pas utile d'essayer d'attraper les vers à l'aide d'une pincette, car ils sont alors souvent coupés en deux - et chaque partie peut se développer et former un nouveau ver. Par ailleurs, il faut absolument éviter de saisir les vers polychètes avec la main, étant donné que les petites « soies » peuvent provoquer des irritations cutanées pouvant persister pendant plusieurs jours.
Principe de fonctionnement du piège à polychètes Worm X:
Ouvrez le piège à polychètes sur un côté.
Déposez un peu de nourriture (krill, mysis, Dupla Eeze ou un peu de chair de coquillage) dans la partie centrale du piège à polychètes
Réassemblez le piège
Placez le piège à polychètes Worm X là où vous avez pu observer des polychètes
Les polychètes sont nocturne
Il convient donc d'installer le piège à polychètes Worm X le soir et de l'enlever le matin.
Évitez de toucher les polychètes, étant donné que leurs soies peuvent causer des blessures douloureuses.
